I Triple Dog Dare You!
Those of you familiar with the movie A Christmas Story will no doubt recognise this building. This is Victoria School, in St. Catharines, where the classroom, school exterior, and infamous pole licking scenes were shot. Nothing like a lump of reality coal in your stocking to shatter those Hollywood fueled illusions, eh?
The school is closed; the windows boarded up.
A closer look at the side entrance where, as I recall, the kids in the movie were filmed entering the school after recess and that scene.

The front of the school. I don't recall any scenes being shot there. 
Oops. My bad.
Looking towards the street where the pole licking scene took place. If you're ever there, on a quest for that pole, don't bother. It was but a prop.
